Clean your mouthpiece after you take off the old and before you put on the new.
Need a new thumb rest cushion or thumb port? Grab a pencil grip and a pair of scissors!
 Wash your reed guard.
Hand wash or can go in the dishwasher in the silverware basket. Follow up with a soak in 2 parts Listerine, 1 part water. Rinse and dry overnight before using.

Hand wash cold, lay flat to dry.
